    Description

Twelve (12) Latex Rubber Sacs, Assorted Sizes
Brand new sacs, an assortment of the most useful sizes, ranging between #14 and #22. The sacs in this assortment will fit a good 95% of vintage sac-filling fountain pens.
Determining the proper sac size is best done by trial and error, seeing which sac will provide an easy sliding fit in the barrel.
These sacs are fresh production from the Pen Sac Company in California, which took over the ink sac production department of the White Rubber Company, the leading suppliers of sacs to the pen industry from the 1920s through the 1980s. While other materials have their advantages when there are special requirements, for general usage latex sacs remain the best overall choice. Latex sacs are best attached with shellac.
NOTE: Latex sacs are made by dip-molding, so sacs will vary slightly in wall thickness and exterior diameter. Sac sizes are nominal, and indicate that a given sac will easily fit through a hole n/64 inch (1 inch = 25.4 mm) in diameter, "n" being the sac size. For more information on sac choice,
please see the Pen Sac Primer on our website. For more sac sizes and materials, see our

We have over 25 years of experience in vintage pen restoration and tuning. Unless otherwise noted, our pens have been fully reconditioned and are ready to write. Authenticity is guaranteed.
    Payment
We are glad to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases, but it is vital that the proper checkout method be used. When buying more than one item, use the Add to Cart button -- NOT the Buy It Now button. View your cart when you are ready to complete the purchase, and if the total shipping charge is incorrect, do NOT pay. Instead, click the Request Total link at the top right and we will send you a corrected invoice.
    Terms of Sale
We strongly believe in full and explicit description of any condition problems or flaws, and in very conservative grading. We stand behind our descriptions -- buy with confidence.
