State of South Carolina Bond Certificate for 00 dated January 1st, 1869. Carries the usual company executives signatures. Signing as Governor is
Robert Kingston Scott, Civil War Union B
rigadier General and later the 74th Governor of the State of South Carolina

Beautiful complete signature. No rips or tears. Beautiful vignettes of George Washington and various other scenes. Bond was
previously issued
and still carries most of the bond coupons on the lower part of the certificate (one has been stapled back onto the paper.)
