The CK&W was busy building many disconnected lines all over Kansas and then leasing them to one of the two competitors. The CK&W continued until it was sold to the Santa Fe Railroad in April, 1901. For auction is a "First Mortgage Bond Script" from the CK&W in the amount of .00. It is dated June 1, 1886 and was payable at 5% interest beginning June 1, 1926.
