1927 NORWICH & WORCESTER RAILROAD 00 FIRST MORTGAGE GOLD BOND PAID TO BEARER

Description

We are offering a Norwich and Worcester Railroad Company 00 First Mortgage Gold Bond.  Four and One-Half Per Cent Series A.  Paid to the bearer.  Issued March 1, 1927.  Due March 1, 1947.  10" x 14 3/4" (folded); 14 3/4" x 19" (when fully opened, revealing the punched out tickets).
The bond has the Norwich and Worcester Rail Road Company Seal (with a steam engine train on it).  The 40 tickets, which date from September 1927 to March 1947, have been punched.  .50 was paid in gold coin every 6 months to the bearer.
