1962 Buick Electra 225 model 4862. 4dr. sedan. I have owned this car since 1992. I believe I am the third owner. The original owner lived in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. Around 1990, they took it to a local gas station for repair and never claimed it. I bought it in 1992 and drove it every day to work for about ten years. About 6-7 years ago I parked it in my driveway with the intent to restore it upon my retirement. Since, I have hurt my back and can no longer do the work. The car is original with all its parts, ran when parked. It is not driveable as-is. I haven't started it, the brake lines have rusted through along with the exhaust system. The water pump was trickling when I parked it and I have a rebuilt one that goes along with it. This car is being sold as-is with no warranty as a project. The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements. I have also listed it locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. I would like to see this car go to a good home. My dad had one and I always wanted to restore this one. They called Buicks of this era "poor man's Cadillacs". Believe it. It floats on the road and is a pleasure to drive!
