1977 Trans Am W72
1977 Firebird Trans Am with W72 engine option.  Y6 engine code. 6X Heads, 66,000 miles. Car still maintains original exhaust system with Transverse Muffler and GM Cat Converter. Options are W72 engine, AC, Tilt, 8 track, GM Mats which are mint, Tinted Glass and the Rare Rear Seat Console. Roof drip and metal body side moldings. Nice glass. No scratches on the side windows. Local car that was lady owned from new until summer 2021. Car has been garaged and was stored inside and rarely driven.  Super nice floor and trunk pans. Straight solid car with only slight patina. Car has had one professional repainted at some point in its original Code 13 Sterling Silver and still looks Great. Paint looks almost factory with virtually no overspray. All the factory spoilers are in great shape with hardly any road rash. This car is not a fresh restoration but a well-cared for car that hasn't been beat to death. AC is all hooked up but it will need to be converted over to R134 and heater core has been bypassed. The car runs just like they did back in 77. Its quiet and has no exhaust leaks but pulls very strong if you kick it in passing gear. It doesn't smoke or leak big puddles. It's had recent tune up along with plugs, belts and other items. A new fuel pump and power steering pump were recently put on. The gauges work and the car runs cool. All fluids were flushed in the past year. Moldings, trim, weatherstrip and interior are very nice. Tires are new with maybe 500 miles. Original rally 2 wheels are in mint condition as well as the trim rings/caps. This car was a late build July 77 car. It has the taller 78 style shaker that has not been cut open, which Pontiac started using in May of that year.  1977 was the last year for the Rare Rear Seat Console.
