This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is a project vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle needs work.
Vehicle Details
1979 Trans Am Roller Project. Clear Missouri state title.
Selling due to change of interest. Has small rust spots in front floor pans, passenger side front leaf spring mount, and rear panel. I’ve tried to take the best pictures possible. Please let me know if you’d like any additional views.
Sold as a roller. Car originally had Oldsmobile 403 with an automatic transmission. Was planning on converting to manual transmission with a LSX platform.
Sub frame Was removed hot power washed wire wheeled and coated with Eastwood rust encapsulator platinum.
Reinstalled with Pro-Touring F Body GenII Key Lock Solid body bushings.
No front spring installed as we were going to replace front suspension with tubular arms and coilovers. (Not included/ never purchased)
Includes following parts
Heim joint style tie rods to eliminate bump steer.
Tanks Inc. EFI fuel tank Tanks Inc. EFI fuel tank pump and sending unit, pump, and sending unit.
Extra pieces of trim for around the windows and other various interior parts.
Rear axle had been serviced and features new brake lines as well as an aftermarket swaybar. Many parts included in pictures. Please examine pictures carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Vehicle is located in house Springs, MO 63051. We are approximately 30 minutes south west of St. Louis Missouri. Pick up available most evenings and weekends.
