Cir-Kit 1009F 3-Watt Transformer: DOLLHOUSE Electrical
"Cir-Kit" brand 1009F 3-watt transformer, compatible with "Cir-Kit" brand dollhouse electrical components.  The 1009F transformer is Cir-Kit's smallest transformer, and is appropriate for lighting as many as 5 12-volt bulbs (not fixtures, bulbs) and is especially useful for lighting roomboxes or other single room scenes.  Transformer plugs into a standard wall outlet (USA).  Screw-lug terminals on the back accept spade ends of all "Cir-Kit" brand 1008 series lead-in wires.  The transformer is circuit-breaker protected.  That means if you have or develop a short in your electrical system, the transformer will click off rather than allow an overload to fry your fixtures, which is a good thing.
(Note:  If you plug in your dollhouse and it lights for a second, then you hear a "click" and all the lights go out at once, that is your "Cir-Kit" transformer doing its job.  The problem is a short in your wiring, not your transformer.)

1009F - 3 watt - lights 5 or fewer 12-volt bulbs (for roomboxes)
1009B - 5 watt - lights 5-10 12-volt bulbs
1009A - 10 watt - lights 10-16 12-volt bulbs
1009C - 20 watt - lights 16-32 12-volt bulbs
1009D - 40 watt - lights 32-65 12-volt bulbs
