***Loose Driftwood***
This is natural driftwood and will not always sink right away in your tank.
You can place it direct into your tank and anchor it to a rock, or presoak it until it water-logs.
Once it is water-logged it will sink without the need for a rock or anchor.
This process can take as little as 1 day or weeks depending upon the density of the wood.

Many amazing tree like designs can be created by anchoring plants or other décor to branches.

*Taxidermy*
This wood is also great for use with taxidermy.
We are also happy to make pre-cuts to the wood for little or no extra charge depending on your requirements for mounting purposes.

This is natural wood and may release harmless tannins into the water.
Depending on the size of your aquarium this can “tint” your aquarium water a natural light brown color.
You can lessen this effect by presoaking the wood in a bucket for a couple weeks, or as long as it takes for the tannins to bleed out.
With regular water changes they will eventually go away.
The tannins are actually a great benefit to many soft water fish and can also help stimulate breeding.
