Description

Janis Ian is preparing for a last North American Tour (see her website for information)! After moving and downsizing, most of her memorabilia has gone to the Janis Ian Archives. She's also picked a few items to sell in order to benefit the Pearl Foundation. This is one of those items.
The Bottom Line
was a music venue in the Greenwich village
neighborhood of New York City
. During the 1970s and 1980s the club was a major space for popular music performances, and a real "performer's hangout". The songs on this CD were recorded in August of 1980.
Janis Ian: Live At The Bottom Line
is the 35th Anniversary Remaster Edition. Due to contractual issues, this album will never be re-released or available on line, so get it while you can!
Songs:
From Me To You,
Night Rains.
I Would Like To Dance,
Jesse,
The Other Side Of The Sun,
In The Winter,
Silly Habits,
Memories,
Fly Too High,
At
Seventeen,
Stars,
Bonus Tracks: Society's Child, At Seventeen (alt version)

The Pearl Foundation (named after Janis Ian's mother, Pearl) is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) public charitable foundation providing scholarships for "returning students". It's
funded solely through donations from fans, friends, complete strangers, and Janis Ian and Patricia Snyder. We don't have board meetings in The Bahamas or pay any salaries; everything but the actual tax preparation and filing fees is donated. Our annual costs have never exceeded ,500 (the cost of tax preparation and filing), and so far we have given away over ,235,500.00
in endowed scholarships.
