    Description

Janis Ian is preparing for a last North American Tour (see her website for information)! Most of her memorabilia has already gone to the Janis Ian Archives, but she's picked a few items to sell in order to benefit the Pearl Foundation. This is one of those items.
Another find while going through her memorabilia, this double CD set was a limited edition created for Janis'  '93 Dutch Tour, featuring Grammy nominee
    Breaking Silence,
and Janis' first "best of" CD,
    Up 'Til Now
. Because they were manufactured in Holland, the pressings (for the time) were head and shoulders above any other country's. In addition to the two CDs (see song listing in photos) it includes a 16 page booklet with the lyrics to the songs on
    Breaking Silence
, tour information, and photos. Janis recently signed it on the front.
Like all other items listed from this account, 100% of the proceeds after eBay fees will go to the Pearl Foundation*.  This is an opportunity for you to get a rare Janis Ian double CD and support good works at the same time.
The winner needs to pay for this item within two days of the close of the auction.  It will be shipped within two business days of receiving verification of payment.
Thanks for looking and thanks for your support of Janis and The Pearl Foundation.

The Pearl Foundation (named after Janis Ian's mother, Pearl) is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) public charitable foundation providing scholarships for "returning students". It's
funded solely through donations from fans, friends, complete strangers, and Janis Ian and Patricia Snyder. We don't have board meetings in The Bahamas or pay any salaries; everything but the actual tax preparation and filing fees is donated. Our annual costs have never exceeded ,500 (the cost of tax preparation and filing), and so far we have given away over ,235,500.00
    in endowed scholarships.
