Oil blotting paper is born in Kanazawa, which boasts 99% of gold leaf production nationwide.
Hakuichi applied gold leaf technology to develop the first "gold leaf papermaking method" in Japan in 1976.
This manufacturing method absorbs more sebum in an instant than ordinary oil blotting paper by tapping the paper over and over again, crushing the fibers of the paper and increasing the density to the utmost limit.
