If threatened you can pull the gun out of its holster in mere seconds.  The gun shape in your hand is sure to put off an attacker, but if you pull the trigger and aim it in the general direction of an attacker, the spark and the crackling sound is sure to make him go in search of an easier target.
The ZAP GUN has superb build quality. The unit itself is made of strong ABS plastic, but the grip uses a non-slip rubber coating.
