    Description

    A very scarce if not rare signed September, 1945 Yosemite Short Line Railway Company for train service to Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, California bond.  The Bond or Stock Certificate is complete with all 80 payment certificates still attached.  The bond is in mint or near mint condition.  The bond has three signatures including the President of the Yosemite Railroad.  The bond states in part
    “YOSEMITE SHORT LINE RAILWAY COMPANY,
    0, 40 YEAR SINKING FUND, 4 ½ PER CENT GOLD BOND,
    PPRINCIPAL DUE, 1ST DAY OF SEPTEMBER A.D. 1945,
    FISCAL AGENCY, SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”
    When opened each of the three pages of the bond is 10 x 15 inches and closed is 4 x 10 inches.  The bond is in mint or near mint condition with no tears or creases.
