There is a built in lock to keep the crimper closed, when you are not using them.
Also there is a pair cutter trimmer behind the crimp head
crimps most all connectors including
UR2, UB2, UY2, UG, and UAL
I really like having a few of these crimpers on my Van
They work well with crimping Scotchloks®
I keep one pair with my coax f connector kit (to cut cable and loosen/tighten f connectors)
I keep one pair in my fiber kit (nice to cut osp fiber filler tubes/ strength members)
I keep one pair in my osp copper kit to splice/place bonds
