VTG 70’s Lisch Austrian Olympic Alpine Oktoberfest Corduroy Knickers XS

Thick wale olive green knickers are the real deal! They have a flat front hook closure, and zippered pockets. Nicely gathered, and stiffer corduroy holds it’s shape.
There are metal adjustable pulls at the knee.
There is elastic at the side buttons that probably needs to be replaced soon. No other flaws. Side note, the inside label tape & label are scratchy, so might not be for someone with sensitive skin.
I came across these in a Swedish Village (in the USA) and had to pick them up! So, I do not know the back story on them. I know the Olympics were in Austria in 1976, so maybe these were part of a costume (wait staff? Performing band? Who knows?) for the festivities? This is my guess, but I could be totally wrong. At any rate, they are super cute, with minimal flaws. Great for a costume, or for the fashion forward!
For reference, mannequin is 34”/24”/34”, and they fit great. Exact measurements coming tomorrow.
